OUR HISTORY

An entrepreneur at heart, Albert Rodenhouse Sr. started building wooden storm windows in 1939. This was in addition to building new homes and converting and installing electric into homes in the Grand Rapids area.

His three sons, Al Jr., Bob, and Ken carried on family tradition of owning and operating many businesses.

It was in the 1960’s that Ken started building Kaufmann Storm Windows and Doors through his company Griswolds, an exterior remodeler. In 1979, Ken opened Rodenhouse Door and Window, Inc. in Comstock Park, MI. We continue to this day to fabricate and manufacture quality aluminum products made to stand the test of time.

Rodenhouse Door & Window, Inc. is still a family owned and operated company, striving to manufacture the highest quality products at a competitive price.
